How we use images
Dignity first
Our image direction is set out in the brand guide and applies to everything we publish.
- Consent is the rule, not the exceptionIdentifiable participant images are only used with explicit consent. Where consent isn’t given, we photograph hands, walking feet, materials, park details, or backs and side profiles.
- Real places, real momentsAlbert Park, paths, benches, hands holding prompt cards, tea flasks, shoes walking and relaxed group moments — not staged portraits.
- Participation, not spectacleWe prioritise conversation, listening, child-friendly presence and small groups.
- No charity tropesNo generic diversity stock imagery, no flags or passports, and no imagery that suggests crisis as someone’s main identity.
